Stag came out with a Piston AR

Re: Stag came out with a Piston AR
Yeah, I saw that.. Not sure if I have enough problems to justify a piston rig though.
Seems like you are just moving your cleaning to a different spot. Edit: With a full auto, I would understand the need... The bolts get way too hot without the piston setup. |
Re: Stag came out with a Piston AR
I was kinda wondering why they felt the need to do that.

Plus, stag makes so many parts for everyone else, they may have already had the manufacturing setup to make them so they figured, what the heck, slap a stag lower on it and sell it too. |

I think it's great that the civilian market is continuing to tweak an aging US military platform. These kinds of innovations keep the AR a viable civilian arm. |

Wonder if they solved the bc/buffer tube interference issue. |

One really great thing about AR's is the ability to freakin change everthing without usually having to worry if the parts will fit if the manufacturers are different. I have to wonder if there is much interchangability in the BCG and gas systems of all of these piston uppers from different companies. |

They used to manufacture and assemble the S&W ar. Now I heard they don't assemble, but make the parts... etc etc... |
